Luke 18:26

Those who heard this said, “Then ¹  who can be saved?” ² 

Those who heard this asked, "Who then can be saved?"

They who heard it said, "Then who can be saved?"

Those who heard this said, "Then who in the world can be saved?"

"Then who has any chance at all?" the others asked.

And those who were present said, Then who may have salvation?

Those who heard it said, "Then who can be saved?"

And those who heard it said, "Who then can be saved?"

Those who heard this said, “Then ¹  who can be saved?” ² 

¹ tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “then” to indicate the implied sequence of thought.

² sn The assumption is that the rich are blessed, so if they risk exclusion, who is left to be saved?
