Luke 11:45

One of the experts in religious law ¹  answered him, “Teacher, when you say these things you insult ²  us too.”

One of the experts in the law answered him, "Teacher, when you say these things, you insult us also."

One of the lawyers *said to Him in reply, "Teacher, when You say this, You insult us too."

"Teacher," said an expert in religious law, "you have insulted us, too, in what you just said."

One of the religion scholars spoke up: "Teacher, do you realize that in saying these things you're insulting us?"

And one of the teachers of the law, answering, said to him, Master, in saying this, you give a bad name to us as to them.

One of the lawyers answered him, "Teacher, when you say these things, you insult us too."

Then one of the lawyers answered and said to Him, "Teacher, by saying these things You reproach us also."

One of the experts in religious law ¹  answered him, “Teacher, when you say these things you insult ²  us too.”

¹ sn That is, an expert in the interpretation of the Mosaic law. They worked closely with the Pharisees.
