John 8:47

The one who belongs to ¹  God listens and responds ²  to God’s words. You don’t listen and respond, ³  because you don’t belong to God.” ⁴ 

He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."

"He who is of God hears the words of God; for this reason you do not hear them, because you are not of God."

Anyone whose Father is God listens gladly to the words of God. Since you don’t, it proves you aren’t God’s children."

Anyone on God's side listens to God's words. This is why you're not listening--because you're not on God's side."

He who is a child of God gives ear to the words of God: your ears are not open to them because you are not from God.

Whoever is from God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear them is that you are not from God."
