Genesis 29:21

Finally Jacob said ¹  to Laban, “Give me my wife, for my time of service is up. ²  I want to have marital relations with her.” ³ 

Then Jacob said to Laban, "Give me my wife. My time is completed, and I want to lie with her."

Then Jacob said to Laban, "Give me my wife, for my time is completed, that I may go in to her."

Finally, the time came for him to marry her. "I have fulfilled my contract," Jacob said to Laban. "Now give me my wife so we can be married."

Then Jacob said to Laban, "Give me my wife; I've completed what we agreed I'd do. I'm ready to consummate my marriage."

Then Jacob said to Laban, Give me my wife so that I may have her, for the days are ended.

Then Jacob said to Laban, "Give me my wife that I may go in to her, for my time is completed."

Then Jacob said to Laban, "Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in to her."

Finally Jacob said ¹  to Laban, “Give me my wife, for my time of service is up. ²  I want to have marital relations with her.” ³ 

¹ tn Heb “and Jacob said.”

² tn Heb “my days are fulfilled.”

³ tn Heb “and I will go in to her.” The verb is a cohortative; it may be subordinated to the preceding request, “that I may go in,” or it may be an independent clause expressing his desire. The verb “go in” in this context refers to sexual intercourse (i.e., the consummation of the marriage).
