Genesis 27:16

She put the skins of the young goats ¹  on his hands ²  and the smooth part of his neck.

She also covered his hands and the smooth part of his neck with the goatskins.

She made him a pair of gloves from the hairy skin of the young goats, and she fastened a strip of the goat’s skin around his neck.

¹ tn In the Hebrew text the object (“the skins of the young goats”) precedes the verb. The disjunctive clause draws attention to this key element in the subterfuge.
