Genesis 11:28

Haran died in the land of his birth, in Ur of the Chaldeans, ¹  while his father Terah was still alive. ² 

While his father Terah was still alive, Haran died in Ur of the Chaldeans, in the land of his birth.

Haran died in the presence of his father Terah in the land of his birth, in Ur of the Chaldeans.

But while Haran was still young, he died in Ur of the Chaldeans, the place of his birth. He was survived by Terah, his father.

Haran died before his father, Terah, in the country of his family, Ur of the Chaldees.

And death came to Haran when he was with his father Terah in the land of his birth, Ur of the Chaldees.

¹ sn The phrase of the Chaldeans is a later editorial clarification for the readers, designating the location of Ur. From all evidence there would have been no Chaldeans in existence at this early date; they are known in the time of the neo-Babylonian empire in the first millennium b.c.
