Ezekiel 39:26

They will bear their shame for all their unfaithful acts against me, when they live securely on their land with no one to make them afraid.

They will forget their shame and all the unfaithfulness they showed towards me when they lived in safety in their land with no-one to make them afraid.

"They will forget their disgrace and all their treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they live securely on their own land with no one to make them afraid.

They will accept responsibility for their past shame and treachery against me after they come home to live in peace and safety in their own land. And then no one will bother them or make them afraid.

Eventually the memory will fade, the memory of their shame over their betrayals of me when they lived securely in their own land, safe and unafraid.

And they will be conscious of their shame and of all the wrong which they have done against me, when they are living in their land with no sense of danger and with no one to be a cause of fear to them;

They shall forget their shame, and all the treachery they have practiced against me, when they live securely in their land with no one to make them afraid,

‘after they have borne their shame, and all their unfaithfulness in which they were unfaithful to Me, when they dwelt safely in their own land and no one made them afraid.
