Exodus 34:8

Moses quickly bowed ¹  to the ground and worshiped

Moses bowed to the ground at once and worshipped.

Moses made haste to bow low toward the earth and worship.

Moses immediately fell to the ground and worshiped.

At once, Moses fell to the ground and worshiped,

Then Moses quickly went down on his face in worship.

And Moses quickly bowed his head toward the earth, and worshiped.

So Moses made haste and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshiped.

Moses quickly bowed ¹  to the ground and worshiped

¹ tn The first two verbs form a hendiadys: “he hurried…he bowed,” meaning “he quickly bowed down.”
