Exodus 16:9

Then Moses said to Aaron, “Tell the whole community ¹  of the Israelites, ‘Come ²  before the Lord, because he has heard your murmurings.’”

Then Moses told Aaron, "Say to the entire Israelite community, ‘Come before the LORD, for he has heard your grumbling.’"

Then Moses said to Aaron, "Say to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, ‘Come near before the LORD, for He has heard your grumblings.’"

Then Moses said to Aaron, "Say this to the entire community of Israel: ‘Come into the LORD’s presence, and hear his reply to your complaints.’"

Moses instructed Aaron: "Tell the whole company of Israel: 'Come near to GOD. He's heard your complaints.'"

And Moses said to Aaron, Say to all the people of Israel, Come near before the Lord for he has given ear to your outcry.

Then Moses said to Aaron, "Say to the whole congregation of the Israelites, ‘Draw near to the LORD, for he has heard your complaining.’"

Then Moses spoke to Aaron, "Say to all the congregation of the children of Israel, ‘Come near before the LORD, for He has heard your complaints.’"

Then Moses said to Aaron, “Tell the whole community ¹  of the Israelites, ‘Come ²  before the Lord, because he has heard your murmurings.’”

¹ tn Or “congregation” (KJV, ASV, NASB, NRSV); the same word occurs in v. 10.

² tn The verb means “approach, draw near.” It is used in the Torah of drawing near for religious purposes. It is possible that some sacrifice was involved here, but no mention is made of that.
