Ecclesiastes 7:24

Whatever has happened is beyond human ¹  understanding; ²  it is far deeper than anyone can fathom. ³ 

Whatever wisdom may be, it is far off and most profound— who can discover it?

What has been is remote and exceedingly mysterious. Who can discover it?

Wisdom is always distant and very difficult to find.

far beyond me, and deep--oh so deep! Does anyone ever find it?

Far off is true existence, and very deep; who may have knowledge of it?

That which is, is far off, and deep, very deep; who can find it out?

As for that which is far off and exceedingly deep, Who can find it out?

Whatever has happened is beyond human ¹  understanding; ²  it is far deeper than anyone can fathom. ³ 

¹ tn The word “human” does not appear in the Hebrew text, but is supplied in the translation for stylistic reasons.

² tn Heb “is far away.”

³ tn Heb “It is deep, deep – who can find it?” The repetition of the word “deep” emphasizes the degree of incomprehensibility. See IBHS 233-34 §12.5a.
