Deuteronomy 6:21

you must say to them, ¹  “We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt, but the Lord brought us out of Egypt in a powerful way. ² 

tell him: "We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, but the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

then you shall say to your son, ‘We were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt, and the LORD brought us from Egypt with a mighty hand.

Then you must tell them, ‘We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt, but the LORD brought us out of Egypt with amazing power.

tell your child, "We were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt and GOD powerfully intervened and got us out of that country.

Then you will say to your son, We were servants under Pharaoh’s yoke in Egypt; and the Lord took us out of Egypt with a strong hand:

then you shall say to your children, "We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt, but the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

"then you shall say to your son: ‘We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand;

you must say to them, ¹  “We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt, but the Lord brought us out of Egypt in a powerful way. ² 

¹ tn Heb “to your son.”

² tn Heb “by a strong hand.” The image is that of a warrior who, with weapon in hand, overcomes his enemies. The Lord is commonly depicted as a divine warrior in the Book of Deuteronomy (cf. 5:15; 7:8; 9:26; 26:8).
