Acts 4:15

But when they had ordered them to go outside the council, ¹  they began to confer with one another,

So they ordered them to withdraw from the Sanhedrin and then conferred together.

But when they had ordered them to leave the Council, they began to confer with one another,

So they sent Peter and John out of the council chamber and conferred among themselves.

They sent them out of the room so they could work out a plan. They talked it over:

But when they had given them orders to go out of the Sanhedrin, they had a discussion among themselves,

So they ordered them to leave the council while they discussed the matter with one another.

But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,

But when they had ordered them to go outside the council, ¹  they began to confer with one another,

¹ tn Or “the Sanhedrin” (the highest legal, legislative, and judicial body among the Jews).
