Acts 13:37

but the one ¹  whom God raised up did not experience ²  decay.

But the one whom God raised from the dead did not see decay.

but He whom God raised did not undergo decay.

No, it was a reference to someone else––someone whom God raised and whose body did not decay.

But the One God raised up--no dust and ashes for him!

But he, who was lifted up by God, did not see destruction.

but he whom God raised up experienced no corruption.

² tn Grk “see,” but the literal translation of the phrase “did not see decay” could be misunderstood to mean simply “did not look at decay,” while here “did not see decay” is really figurative for “did not experience decay.”
