2 Kings 9:19

So he sent a second horseman out to them ¹  and he said, “This is what the king says, ‘Is everything all right?’” ²  Jehu replied, “None of your business! Follow me.”

So the king sent out a second horseman. When he came to them he said, "This is what the king says: ‘Do you come in peace?’" Jehu replied, "What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me."

Then he sent out a second horseman, who came to them and said, "Thus says the king, ‘Is it peace?’" And Jehu answered, "What have you to do with peace? Turn behind me."

So the king sent out a second rider. He rode up to them and demanded, "The king wants to know whether you come in peace." Again Jehu answered, "What do you know about peace? Get behind me!"

The king then sent a second horseman. When he reached them he said, "The king wants to know if there's anything wrong." Jehu said, "What's it to you whether things are right or wrong? Fall in behind me."

Then he sent out a second horseman, who came up to them and said, The king says, Is it peace? And Jehu said in answer, What have you to do with peace? come after me.

Then he sent out a second horseman, who came to them and said, "Thus says the king, ‘Is it peace?’" Jehu answered, "What have you to do with peace? Fall in behind me."

Then he sent out a second horseman who came to them, and said, "Thus says the king: ‘ Is it peace?’" And Jehu answered, "What have you to do with peace? Turn around and follow me."

So he sent a second horseman out to them ¹  and he said, “This is what the king says, ‘Is everything all right?’” ²  Jehu replied, “None of your business! Follow me.”

¹ tn Heb “and he came to them.”

² tc The MT has simply “peace,” omitting the prefixed interrogative particle. It is likely that the particle has been accidentally omitted; several ancient witnesses include it or assume its presence.
