Now Michal, Saul’s daughter, loved David. When they told Saul about this, it ¹  pleased him.

Now Saul’s daughter Michal was in love with David, and when they told Saul about it, he was pleased.

Now Michal, Saul’s daughter, loved David. When they told Saul, the thing was agreeable to him.

In the meantime, Saul’s daughter Michal had fallen in love with David, and Saul was delighted when he heard about it.

And Saul’s daughter Michal was in love with David: and Saul had word of it and was pleased.

Now Saul’s daughter Michal loved David. Saul was told, and the thing pleased him.

Now Michal, Saul’s daughter, loved David. And they told Saul, and the thing pleased him.
