1 Samuel 17:15

David was going back and forth ¹  from Saul in order to care for his father’s sheep in Bethlehem.

but David went back and forth from Saul to tend his father’s sheep at Bethlehem.

But David went back and forth between working for Saul and helping his father with the sheep in Bethlehem.

David was the youngest son. While his three oldest brothers went to war with Saul, David went back and forth from attending to Saul to tending his father's sheep in Bethlehem.

Now David went to and from Saul, looking after his father’s sheep at Beth-lehem.

but David went back and forth from Saul to feed his father’s sheep at Bethlehem.

But David occasionally went and returned from Saul to feed his father’s sheep at Bethlehem.

David was going back and forth ¹  from Saul in order to care for his father’s sheep in Bethlehem.
