1 Samuel 8:18

In that day you will cry out because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the Lord won’t answer you in that day.” ¹ 

When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, and the LORD will not answer you in that day."

"Then you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the LORD will not answer you in that day."

When that day comes, you will beg for relief from this king you are demanding, but the LORD will not help you."

The day will come when you will cry in desperation because of this king you so much want for yourselves. But don't expect GOD to answer."

Then you will be crying out because of your king whom you have taken for yourselves; but the Lord will not give you an answer in that day.

And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves; but the LORD will not answer you in that day."

"And you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, and the LORD will not hear you in that day."

In that day you will cry out because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the Lord won’t answer you in that day.” ¹
