Context37:17 Then King Zedekiah had him brought to the palace. There he questioned him privately and asked him, 1 “Is there any message from the Lord?” Jeremiah answered, “Yes, there is.” Then he announced, 2 “You will be handed over to the king of Babylon.” 3

Context44:30 I, the Lord, promise that 4 I will hand Pharaoh Hophra 5 king of Egypt over to his enemies who are seeking to kill him. I will do that just as surely as I handed King Zedekiah of Judah over to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, his enemy who was seeking to kill him.’”
Jeremiah 50:9
Context50:9 For I will rouse into action and bring against Babylon
a host of mighty nations 6 from the land of the north.
They will set up their battle lines against her.
They will come from the north and capture her. 7
Their arrows will be like a skilled soldier 8
who does not return from the battle empty-handed. 9
