1 tn Or “For you must go and say.” The Hebrew particle כִּי (ki) is likely adversative here after a negative statement (cf. BDB 474 s.v. כִּי 3.e). The
2 tn Heb “It is useless!” See the same expression in a similar context in Jer 2:25.
3 tn Heb “We will follow our own plans and do each one according to the stubbornness of his own wicked heart.”
