Romans 6:17

6:17 But thanks be to God that though you were slaves to sin, you obeyed 1  from the heart that pattern 2  of teaching you were entrusted to,

Romans 10:1

10:1 Brothers and sisters, 3  my heart’s desire and prayer to God on behalf of my fellow Israelites 4  is for their salvation.

Romans 10:6

Romans 10:8-9

10:8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” 7  (that is, the word of faith that we preach), 10:9 because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord 8  and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
