Hebrews 10:12

But when this priest ¹  had offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, he sat down at the right hand ²  of God,

But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God.

but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD,

But our High Priest offered himself to God as one sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then he sat down at the place of highest honor at God’s right hand.

As a priest, Christ made a single sacrifice for sins, and that was it! Then he sat down right beside God

But when Jesus had made one offering for sins for ever, he took his place at the right hand of God;

But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, "he sat down at the right hand of God,"

But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God,

But when this priest ¹  had offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, he sat down at the right hand ²  of God,

¹ tn Grk “this one.” This pronoun refers to Jesus, but “this priest” was used in the translation to make the contrast between the Jewish priests in v. 11 and Jesus as a priest clearer in English.

² sn An allusion to Ps 110:1.
