Zephaniah 3:16

On that day they will say ¹  to Jerusalem, “Don’t be afraid, Zion! Your hands must not be paralyzed from panic! ² 

On that day they will say to Jerusalem, "Do not fear, O Zion; do not let your hands hang limp.

In that day it will be said to Jerusalem: "Do not be afraid, O Zion; Do not let your hands fall limp.

On that day the announcement to Jerusalem will be, "Cheer up, Zion! Don’t be afraid!

Jerusalem will be told: "Don't be afraid. Dear Zion, don't despair.

In that day it will be said to Jerusalem, Have no fear: O Zion, let not your hands be feeble.

On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: Do not fear, O Zion; do not let your hands grow weak.

In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: "Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak.

On that day they will say ¹  to Jerusalem, “Don’t be afraid, Zion! Your hands must not be paralyzed from panic! ² 

¹ tn Heb “it will be said.” The passive construction has been translated as active for stylistic reasons.

² tn Heb “your hands must not go limp.”
