Everyone ¹  ate and was satisfied, and they picked up the broken pieces left over, seven baskets full.

The people ate and were satisfied. Afterwards the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.

And they ate and were satisfied; and they picked up seven large baskets full of what was left over of the broken pieces.

They ate until they were full, and when the scraps were picked up, there were seven large baskets of food left over!

The crowd ate its fill. Seven sacks of leftovers were collected.
