Mark 5:39

When he entered he said to them, “Why are you distressed and weeping? The child is not dead but asleep.”

He went in and said to them, "Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep."

And entering in, He *said to them, "Why make a commotion and weep? The child has not died, but is asleep."

He went inside and spoke to the people. "Why all this weeping and commotion?" he asked. "The child isn’t dead; she is only asleep."

Jesus was abrupt: "Why all this busybody grief and gossip? This child isn't dead; she's sleeping."

And when he had gone in, he said to them, Why are you making such a noise and weeping? The child is not dead, but sleeping.
