Mark 1:30

Simon’s mother-in-law was lying down, sick with a fever, so ¹  they spoke to Jesus ²  at once about her.

Simon’s mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her.

Now Simon’s mother-in-law was lying sick with a fever; and immediately they *spoke to Jesus about her.

Simon’s mother–in–law was sick in bed with a high fever. They told Jesus about her right away.

Simon's mother-in-law was sick in bed, burning up with fever. They told Jesus.

Now Simon’s wife’s mother was ill, with a burning heat; and they gave him word of her:

Now Simon’s mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they told him about her at once.

But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once.

Simon’s mother-in-law was lying down, sick with a fever, so ¹  they spoke to Jesus ²  at once about her.

¹ tn Grk “And.” Here καί (kai) has been translated as “so” to indicate the implied result of previous action(s) in the narrative.
