Mark 1:13

He was in the wilderness forty days, ¹  enduring temptations from Satan. He ²  was with wild animals, and angels were ministering to his needs. ³ 

and he was in the desert for forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.

And He was in the wilderness forty days being tempted by Satan; and He was with the wild beasts, and the angels were ministering to Him.

He was there for forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was out among the wild animals, and angels took care of him.

For forty wilderness days and nights he was tested by Satan. Wild animals were his companions, and angels took care of him.

And he was in the waste land for forty days, being tested by Satan; and he was with the beasts; and the angels took care of him.

¹ sn The forty days may allude to the experience of Moses (Exod 34:28), Elijah (1 Kgs 19:8, 15), or David and Goliath (1 Sam 17:16).
