Luke 24:36

While they were saying these things, Jesus ¹  himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” ² 

While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."

While they were telling these things, He Himself stood in their midst and *said to them, "Peace be to you."

And just as they were telling about it, Jesus himself was suddenly standing there among them. He said, "Peace be with you."

While they were saying all this, Jesus appeared to them and said, "Peace be with you."

And while they were saying these things, he himself was among them, and said to them, Peace be with you!

While they were talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."

Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, "Peace to you."

¹ tn Grk “he”; the referent (Jesus) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

² tc The words “and said to them, ‘Peace be with you’” are lacking in some Western mss (D it). But the clause is otherwise well attested, being found in Ì⁷⁵ and the rest of the ms tradition, and should be considered an original part of Luke.
