Luke 23:49

And all those who knew Jesus ¹  stood at a distance, and the women who had followed him from Galilee saw ²  these things.

But all those who knew him, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.

And all His acquaintances and the women who accompanied Him from Galilee were standing at a distance, seeing these things.

But Jesus’ friends, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance watching.

Those who knew Jesus well, along with the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a respectful distance and kept vigil.

And all his friends and the women who came with him from Galilee, were waiting at a distance, watching these things.

¹ tn Grk “him”; the referent (Jesus) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

² tn Technically the participle ὁρῶσαι (Jorwsai) modifies only γυναῖκες (gunaike") since both are feminine plural nominative, although many modern translations refer this as well to the group of those who knew Jesus mentioned in the first part of the verse. These events had a wide array of witnesses.
