Luke 22:23

So ¹  they began to question one another as to which of them it could possibly be who would do this.

They began to question among themselves which of them it might be who would do this.

And they began to discuss among themselves which one of them it might be who was going to do this thing.

Then the disciples began to ask each other which of them would ever do such a thing.

They immediately became suspicious of each other and began quizzing one another, wondering who might be about to do this.

And they were wondering among themselves which of them it was who would do this thing.

Then they began to ask one another, which one of them it could be who would do this.

Then they began to question among themselves, which of them it was who would do this thing.

So ¹  they began to question one another as to which of them it could possibly be who would do this.

¹ tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “so” to indicate the implied result of Jesus’ comments: The disciples begin wondering who would betray him.
