John 9:3

Jesus answered, “Neither this man ¹  nor his parents sinned, but he was born blind so that ²  the acts ³  of God may be revealed ⁴  through what happens to him. ⁵ 

"Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.

Jesus answered, " It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him.

"It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins," Jesus answered. "He was born blind so the power of God could be seen in him.

Jesus said, "You're asking the wrong question. You're looking for someone to blame. There is no such cause-effect here. Look instead for what God can do.

Jesus said in answer, It was not because of his sin, or because of his father’s or mother’s; it was so that the works of God might be seen openly in him.

Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned; he was born blind so that God’s works might be revealed in him.

Jesus answered, “Neither this man ¹  nor his parents sinned, but he was born blind so that ²  the acts ³  of God may be revealed ⁴  through what happens to him. ⁵
