James 5:18

Then ¹  he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land sprouted with a harvest.

Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.

Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruit.

Then he prayed for rain, and down it poured. The grass turned green, and the crops began to grow again.

Then he prayed that it would rain, and it did. The showers came and everything started growing again.

And he made another prayer, and the heaven sent down rain and the earth gave her fruit.

Then he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain and the earth yielded its harvest.

And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

Then ¹  he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land sprouted with a harvest.

¹ tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “then” to indicate the implied sequence of events.
