Galatians 4:18

However, it is good ¹  to be sought eagerly ²  for a good purpose ³  at all times, and not only when I am present with you.

It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always and not just when I am with you.

But it is good always to be eagerly sought in a commendable manner, and not only when I am present with you.

Now it’s wonderful if you are eager to do good, and especially when I am not with you.

It is a good thing to be ardent in doing good, but not just when I am in your presence. Can't you continue the same concern for both my person and my message when I am away from you that you had when I was with you?

But it is good to have an interest in a good cause at all times, and not only when I am present with you.

It is good to be made much of for a good purpose at all times, and not only when I am present with you.

But it is good to be zealous in a good thing always, and not only when I am present with you.

However, it is good ¹  to be sought eagerly ²  for a good purpose ³  at all times, and not only when I am present with you.
