Ezekiel 16:26

You engaged in prostitution with the Egyptians, your sexually aroused neighbors, ¹  multiplying your promiscuity and provoking me to anger.

You engaged in prostitution with the Egyptians, your lustful neighbours, and provoked me to anger with your increasing promiscuity.

"You also played the harlot with the Egyptians, your lustful neighbors, and multiplied your harlotry to make Me angry.

Then you added lustful Egypt to your lovers, fanning the flames of my anger with your increasing promiscuity.

You fornicated with the Egyptians, seeking them out in their sex orgies. The more promiscuous you became, the angrier I got.

And you went with the Egyptians, your neighbours, great of flesh; increasing your loose ways, moving me to wrath.

You played the whore with the Egyptians, your lustful neighbors, multiplying your whoring, to provoke me to anger.

"You also committed harlotry with the Egyptians, your very fleshly neighbors, and increased your acts of harlotry to provoke Me to anger.

You engaged in prostitution with the Egyptians, your sexually aroused neighbors, ¹  multiplying your promiscuity and provoking me to anger.

¹ tn Heb “your neighbors, large of flesh.” The word “flesh” is used here of the genitals. It may simply refer to the size of their genitals in general, or, as the translation suggests, depicts them as sexually aroused.
