Deuteronomy 23:12

You are to have a place outside the camp to serve as a latrine. ¹ 

Designate a place outside the camp where you can go to relieve yourself.

"You shall also have a place outside the camp and go out there,

"Mark off an area outside the camp for a latrine.

Mark out an area outside the camp where you can go to relieve yourselves.

Let there be a place outside the tent-circle to which you may go;

You shall have a designated area outside the camp to which you shall go.

"Also you shall have a place outside the camp, where you may go out;

You are to have a place outside the camp to serve as a latrine. ¹ 

¹ tn Heb “so that one may go outside there.” This expression is euphemistic.
