Amos 1:12

So I will set Teman ¹  on fire; fire ²  will consume Bozrah’s ³  fortresses.”

I will send fire upon Teman that will consume the fortresses of Bozrah."

"So I will send fire upon Teman And it will consume the citadels of Bozrah."

So I will send down fire on Teman, and the fortresses of Bozrah will be destroyed."

For that, I'm burning down her capital, Teman, burning up the forts of Bozrah."

And I will send a fire on Teman, burning up the great houses of Bozrah.

So I will send a fire on Teman, and it shall devour the strongholds of Bozrah.

But I will send a fire upon Teman, Which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah."

So I will set Teman ¹  on fire; fire ²  will consume Bozrah’s ³  fortresses.”

¹ sn Teman was an important region (or perhaps city) in Edom.

² tn Heb “it”; the referent (the fire mentioned in the previous line) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

³ sn Bozrah was a city located in northern Edom.
