Psalms 49:17

For he will take nothing with him when he dies; his wealth will not follow him down into the grave. ¹ 

for he will take nothing with him when he dies, his splendour will not descend with him.

For when he dies he will carry nothing away; His glory will not descend after him.

For when they die, they carry nothing with them. Their wealth will not follow them into the grave.

They can't take it with them; fame and fortune all get left behind.

For at his death, he will take nothing away; his glory will not go down after him.

For when they die they will carry nothing away; their wealth will not go down after them.

For when he dies he shall carry nothing away; His glory shall not descend after him.

For he will take nothing with him when he dies; his wealth will not follow him down into the grave. ¹
