Psalms 119:21

You reprimand arrogant people. Those who stray from your commands are doomed. ¹ 

You rebuke the arrogant, who are cursed and who stray from your commands.

You rebuke the arrogant, the cursed, Who wander from Your commandments.

You rebuke those cursed proud ones who wander from your commands.

And those who think they know so much, ignoring everything you tell them--let them have it!

Your hand has been against the men of pride, a curse is on those who go wandering out of your way.

You rebuke the insolent, accursed ones, who wander from your commandments;

You rebuke the proud––the cursed, Who stray from Your commandments.

¹ tn Heb “accursed.” The traditional punctuation of the Hebrew text takes “accursed” with the previous line (“arrogant, accursed ones”), but it is preferable to take it with the second line as the predicate of the statement.
