The cattle numbered ¹  36,000; the Lord’s tribute was 72.

36,000 cattle, of which the tribute for the LORD was 72;

and the cattle were 36,000, from which the LORD’S levy was 72;

36,000 cattle, of which 72 were the LORD’s share;

36,000 cattle, with a tax of 72 for GOD

The number of oxen was thirty-six thousand, of which the Lord’s part was seventy-two;
