Matthew 22:34

Now when the Pharisees ¹  heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, ²  they assembled together. ³ 

Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together.

But when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered themselves together.

But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees with his reply, they thought up a fresh question of their own to ask him.

When the Pharisees heard how he had bested the Sadducees, they gathered their forces for an assault.

But the Pharisees, hearing how the mouths of the Sadducees had been stopped, came together;

When the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together,

But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together.

Now when the Pharisees ¹  heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, ²  they assembled together. ³
