Luke 23:18

But they all shouted out together, ¹  “Take this man ²  away! Release Barabbas for us!”

With one voice they cried out, "Away with this man! Release Barabbas to us!"

But they cried out all together, saying, "Away with this man, and release for us Barabbas!"

Then a mighty roar rose from the crowd, and with one voice they shouted, "Kill him, and release Barabbas to us!"

At that, the crowd went wild: "Kill him! Give us Barabbas!"

But with loud voices they said all together, Put this man to death, and make Barabbas free.

Then they all shouted out together, "Away with this fellow! Release Barabbas for us!"

And they all cried out at once, saying, "Away with this Man , and release to us Barabbas" ––

But they all shouted out together, ¹  “Take this man ²  away! Release Barabbas for us!”

¹ tn Grk “together, saying.” The participle λέγοντες (legontes) is redundant and has not been translated here.

² tn Grk “this one.” The reference to Jesus as “this man” is pejorative in this context.
