Joshua 4:22

explain ¹  to your children, ‘Israel crossed the Jordan River ²  on dry ground.’

tell them, ‘Israel crossed the Jordan on dry ground.’

then you shall inform your children, saying, ‘Israel crossed this Jordan on dry ground.’

Then you can tell them, ‘This is where the Israelites crossed the Jordan on dry ground.’

tell your children this: 'Israel crossed over this Jordan on dry ground.'

Then give your children the story, and say, Israel came over this river Jordan on dry land.

then you shall let your children know, ‘Israel crossed over the Jordan here on dry ground.’

"then you shall let your children know, saying, ‘Israel crossed over this Jordan on dry land’;

explain ¹  to your children, ‘Israel crossed the Jordan River ²  on dry ground.’

¹ tn Heb “make known.”

² tn Heb “crossed this Jordan”; the word “River” is not in the Hebrew text, but has been supplied to clarify the meaning.
