John 4:48

So Jesus said to him, “Unless you people ¹  see signs and wonders you will never believe!” ² 

"Unless you people see miraculous signs and wonders," Jesus told him, "you will never believe."

So Jesus said to him, "Unless you people see signs and wonders, you simply will not believe."

Jesus asked, "Must I do miraculous signs and wonders before you people will believe in me?"

Jesus put him off: "Unless you people are dazzled by a miracle, you refuse to believe."

Then Jesus said to him, You will not have faith if you do not see signs and wonders.

Then Jesus said to him, "Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe."

Then Jesus said to him, "Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe."

So Jesus said to him, “Unless you people ¹  see signs and wonders you will never believe!” ² 

¹ tn The word “people” is not in the Greek text, but is supplied to indicate that the verb is second person plural (referring to more than the royal official alone).

² tn Or “you never believe.” The verb πιστεύσητε (pisteushte) is aorist subjunctive and may have either nuance.
