John 13:12

So when Jesus ¹  had washed their feet and put his outer clothing back on, he took his place at the table ²  again and said to them, “Do you understand ³  what I have done for you?

When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" he asked them.

So when He had washed their feet, and taken His garments and reclined at the table again, He said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you?

After washing their feet, he put on his robe again and sat down and asked, "Do you understand what I was doing?

After he had finished washing their feet, he took his robe, put it back on, and went back to his place at the table. Then he said, "Do you understand what I have done to you?

Then, after washing their feet and putting on his robe again, he took his seat and said to them, Do you see what I have done to you?

After he had washed their feet, had put on his robe, and had returned to the table, he said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you?

So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you?

So when Jesus ¹  had washed their feet and put his outer clothing back on, he took his place at the table ²  again and said to them, “Do you understand ³  what I have done for you?

² tn Grk “he reclined at the table.” The phrase reflects the normal 1st century Near Eastern practice of eating a meal in a semi-reclining position.
