That is why snares surround you, and why sudden fear terrifies you,

That is why snares are all around you, why sudden peril terrifies you,

"Therefore snares surround you, And sudden dread terrifies you,

That is why you are surrounded by traps and sudden fears.

Now [you're] the one trapped in terror, paralyzed by fear. Suddenly the tables have turned!

For this cause nets are round your feet, and you are overcome with sudden fear.

Therefore snares are around you, and sudden terror overwhelms you,
