Jeremiah 5:16

All of its soldiers are strong and mighty. ¹  Their arrows will send you to your grave. ² 

Their quivers are like an open grave; all of them are mighty warriors.

"Their quiver is like an open grave, All of them are mighty men.

Their weapons are deadly; their warriors are mighty.

When they aim their arrows, you're as good as dead. They're a nation of real fighters!

Their arrows give certain death, they are all men of war.

Their quiver is like an open tomb; all of them are mighty warriors.

Their quiver is like an open tomb; They are all mighty men.

All of its soldiers are strong and mighty. ¹  Their arrows will send you to your grave. ² 

¹ tn Heb “All of them are mighty warriors.”

² tn Heb “his quiver [is] an open grave.” The order of the lines has been reversed to make the transition from “nation” to “their arrows” easier.
