Genesis 44:3

When morning came, ¹  the men and their donkeys were sent off. ² 

As morning dawned, the men were sent on their way with their donkeys.

As soon as it was light, the men were sent away, they with their donkeys.

The brothers were up at dawn and set out on their journey with their loaded donkeys.

At break of day the men were sent off with their donkeys.

And at dawn the men, with their asses, were sent away.

As soon as the morning was light, the men were sent away with their donkeys.

As soon as the morning dawned, the men were sent away, they and their donkeys.

When morning came, ¹  the men and their donkeys were sent off. ² 

¹ tn Heb “the morning was light.”

² tn Heb “and the men were sent off, they and their donkeys.” This clause, like the preceding one, has the subject before the verb, indicating synchronic action.
