Genesis 41:33

“So now Pharaoh should look ¹  for a wise and discerning man ²  and give him authority ³  over all the land of Egypt.

"And now let Pharaoh look for a discerning and wise man and put him in charge of the land of Egypt.

"Now let Pharaoh look for a man discerning and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.

"My suggestion is that you find the wisest man in Egypt and put him in charge of a nationwide program.

"So: Pharaoh needs to look for a wise and experienced man and put him in charge of the country.

And now let Pharaoh make search for a man of wisdom and good sense, and put him in authority over the land of Egypt.

Now therefore let Pharaoh select a man who is discerning and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.

“So now Pharaoh should look ¹  for a wise and discerning man ²  and give him authority ³  over all the land of Egypt.

¹ tn Heb “let Pharaoh look.” The jussive form expresses Joseph’s advice to Pharaoh.

² tn Heb “a man discerning and wise.” The order of the terms is rearranged in the translation for stylistic reasons.
