Galatians 1:13

For you have heard of my former way of life ¹  in Judaism, how I was savagely persecuting the church of God and trying to destroy it.

For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it.

For you have heard of my former manner of life in Judaism, how I used to persecute the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it;

You know what I was like when I followed the Jewish religion––how I violently persecuted the Christians. I did my best to get rid of them.

I'm sure that you've heard the story of my earlier life when I lived in the Jewish way. In those days I went all out in persecuting God's church. I was systematically destroying it.

For news has come to you of my way of life in the past in the Jews’ religion, how I was cruel without measure to the church of God, and did great damage to it:

You have heard, no doubt, of my earlier life in Judaism. I was violently persecuting the church of God and was trying to destroy it.

For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it.

For you have heard of my former way of life ¹  in Judaism, how I was savagely persecuting the church of God and trying to destroy it.
