Acts 28:24

Some were convinced ¹  by what he said, ²  but others refused ³  to believe.

Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe.

Some were being persuaded by the things spoken, but others would not believe.

Some believed and some didn’t.

Some of them were persuaded by what he said, but others refused to believe a word of it.

And some were in agreement with what he said, but some had doubts.

Some were convinced by what he had said, while others refused to believe.

And some were persuaded by the things which were spoken, and some disbelieved.

Some were convinced ¹  by what he said, ²  but others refused ³  to believe.

³ sn Some were convinced…but others refused to believe. Once again the gospel caused division among Jews, as in earlier chapters of Acts (13:46; 18:6).
