2 Kings 9:23

Jehoram turned his chariot around and took off. ¹  He said to Ahaziah, “It’s a trap, ²  Ahaziah!”

Joram turned about and fled, calling out to Ahaziah, "Treachery, Ahaziah!"

So Joram reined about and fled and said to Ahaziah, " There is treachery, O Ahaziah!"

Then King Joram reined the chariot horses around and fled, shouting to King Ahaziah, "Treason, Ahaziah!"

Joram wheeled his chariot around and fled, yelling to Ahaziah, "It's a trap, Ahaziah!"

Then Joram, turning his horses in flight, said to Ahaziah, Broken faith, O Ahaziah!

Then Joram reined about and fled, saying to Ahaziah, "Treason, Ahaziah!"

Then Joram turned around and fled, and said to Ahaziah, "Treachery, Ahaziah!"

Jehoram turned his chariot around and took off. ¹  He said to Ahaziah, “It’s a trap, ²  Ahaziah!”

¹ tn Heb “and Jehoram turned his hands and fled.” The phrase “turned his hands” refers to how he would have pulled on the reins in order to make his horses turn around.

² tn Heb “Deceit, Ahaziah.”
